Email to Chunk
Every account gets a private email address. Forward or send mail to it and it shows up in your Chunk Inbox — the message becomes a text capture, and PDF attachments come along as their own captures.
Get your private address
Head to Settings → Capture and click "Get my address". Chunk generates a private address that looks like save-xxxxxxxxxx@in.chunkapp.com. Copy it — that address is your personal key to Email to Chunk.
Save it as a contact
Add the address to your contacts (for example as "Chunk") so it's one tap to forward to from any mail app — Apple Mail, Gmail, Outlook, and the rest. It works no matter which account you send from.
Forward anything in
To save an email, forward it to your Chunk address. Here's what happens:
- The subject line becomes the suggested title.
- The message body becomes a text capture.
- PDF attachments (up to 3 per email, 20MB each) are saved as their own captures.
- Everything lands in your Inbox, where Chunk titles, tags, and suggests a folder — just like any other capture.
Keep your address private
Your address is the credential, so treat it like a password — anyone who has it can send into your Inbox. If it ever leaks or you want a fresh one, return to Settings → Capture and choose "Generate new address". The old address stops working immediately.
Plans & limits
Email to Chunk is available on every plan. Emailed captures count toward your shared daily capture limit (10 per day on Free, 100 per day on Pro) alongside the share sheet and browser clipper.
