Artifacts

Transform any source — YouTube videos, web pages, podcasts, audio files, or documents — into structured learning materials like flashcards, quizzes, summaries, and concept maps.

Source types

Artifacts can extract content from a variety of sources.

  • YouTube — paste a video URL and Chunk extracts the transcript.
  • Web — paste any article or blog post URL.
  • Podcast — paste a podcast episode URL.
  • Audio — upload an audio file (up to 200MB).
  • Document — upload a PDF (up to 50MB), TXT, or MD file.

Output types

Choose how you want the extracted content transformed.

  • Notes — clean markdown notes ready to edit.
  • Summary — concise overview of the key points.
  • Flashcards — interactive flip cards for studying.
  • Quiz — multiple-choice and short-answer questions with scoring.
  • Concept Map — interactive force-directed graph showing how ideas connect.

Batch mode

Process multiple URLs at once. Open the batch transform modal, paste several URLs, and Chunk will create artifacts for each one. Great for processing a reading list or set of videos.

Language selection

Generate outputs in a different language than the source. Chunk supports 9 languages, so you can watch an English YouTube video and get Spanish flashcards.

Saving to Notes

Any artifact output can be saved directly to your Notes. The content is converted to clean markdown that you can edit, organize, and connect with wiki-links.

Artifact history

All your past artifacts are saved in the Artifacts tab of Workstation. Search by title, filter by source type, and re-view any artifact at any time.
