Chunk Clipper (Chrome Extension)

Clip the web into Chunk. The Chunk Clipper saves the page you're on, any text you've selected, or a link — straight to your Inbox — from Chrome and other Chromium browsers.

Install the extension

Add "Chunk Clipper" from the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. It also runs on Edge, Brave, and Arc. Once installed, pin the Chunk icon to your toolbar so it's always one click away.

Connect it to your account

The clipper needs a one-time token to save to your Inbox.

  • Sign in at chunkapp.com and go to Settings → Capture.
  • Under the browser clipper section, click "Generate token" and copy it — it's shown only once and stored securely.
  • Click the Chunk icon in your toolbar, paste the token into the popup, and click Connect. You'll see "Connected".
  • To disconnect a browser, click "Revoke" back in Settings → Capture — the extension stops saving immediately.

Save the page you're on

Click the Chunk icon in your toolbar to open the popup. It shows the current page's title and URL — add an optional note, then click "Save to Chunk". The page is sent to your Inbox, where Chunk pulls the content, titles it, and suggests a folder.

Right-click to save anything

The clipper also adds right-click menu items so you can save without opening the popup:

  • Right-click a page and choose "Save page to Chunk".
  • Select text, right-click, and choose "Save selection to Chunk".
  • Right-click a link and choose "Save link to Chunk".
  • A checkmark on the toolbar icon confirms the save.

Good to know

A few details worth keeping in mind:

  • Browser system pages (chrome:// URLs) can't be captured.
  • If your token is revoked or expires, the extension asks you to reconnect.
  • Clips count toward your shared daily capture limit — 10 per day on Free, 100 per day on Pro — along with the share sheet and email.
