How do I cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Settings page in Chunk. If you subscribed via the App Store, you can also manage it through your Apple ID settings. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Free users have access to GPT-5.6 Luna. Pro unlocks GPT-5.6 Sol and Terra, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and more. Each model has different strengths — GPT-5.6 and Gemini 3.1 Pro support image generation.

Are there daily usage limits?

Free users get 6 searches per day and 3 image generations. Pro users get 200 searches per day and 20 image generations. Research reports have separate limits based on your plan. Saving documents to a searchable library is Pro-only (up to 3,000 pages); free accounts can attach one document per message to analyze it.

What is the Memory feature?

Chunk's Memory system automatically extracts facts from your conversations — things like your preferences, role, goals, and interests. The AI uses these memories to personalize future responses. You can view, edit, and delete memories from the Settings page.

How is my data stored?

Your conversations, notes, and documents are stored securely in the cloud with encryption. Documents are indexed with vector embeddings for AI search. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

Yes. You can generate a public link for any conversation or research report. Anyone with the link can view it without needing an account. You can revoke shared links at any time.

Yes — every account can export all of its data as AI-ready Markdown, anytime. Research reports can also be exported individually as PDF or Markdown, and notes can be copied as markdown.

How do I save things into Chunk from other apps?

There are three ways to capture into your Chunk Inbox: the "Save to Chunk" share sheet on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Chunk 2.5.0 or later); a private email address you forward mail to (Settings → Capture → "Get my address"); and the Chunk Clipper browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc. Everything lands in your Inbox, where Chunk auto-titles, tags, and files it.

Is there a limit on how much I can save to my Inbox?

Captures share a single daily limit across every channel — the share sheet, email, and the browser clipper combined. Free accounts can save 10 items per day and Pro accounts can save 100 per day. The limit resets each day.

Is my email-to-Chunk address private, and can I reset it?

Yes. Your address (like save-xxxxxxxxxx@in.chunkapp.com) is unique to you and acts as the credential, so keep it private — anyone who has it can send into your Inbox. If it ever leaks, go to Settings → Capture and choose "Generate new address"; the old one stops working immediately.

What are Monitors and do they cost extra?

Monitors are standing research agents: you save a query and a cadence, and Chunk re-runs the research on schedule and sends a cited digest of what's new. They're included in every plan. Free accounts get 1 active monitor on a weekly or monthly cadence with Standard reports; Pro adds daily cadence, Detailed and Deep Research reports, and up to 5 active monitors.

Which browsers does the Chunk Clipper support?

The Chunk Clipper is available on the Chrome Web Store and works in Chrome as well as other Chromium browsers including Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc. After installing, connect it by generating a token in Settings → Capture and pasting it into the extension popup.
