Report types

Chunk offers five report types, each suited for different depths of research.

• Quick Outline (~30s, free) — a fast overview with key points.
• Standard Report (~2min, free) — thorough coverage of the topic.
• Detailed Report (~3min, Pro) — comprehensive analysis with more depth.
• Deep Research (5-7min, Pro) — extensive multi-step exploration, the most thorough option.
• Resource List (~1min, free) — curated list of the best sources on a topic.

Configuration options

Customize your reports with advanced options available in the research settings.

• Writing tone — choose between Informative, Formal, Casual, Academic, or Professional.
• Citation format — None, APA, MLA, Chicago, or Harvard.
• AI-generated images — optionally include AI-created visuals in your report (Pro).

Real-time progress

Watch your report come together in real time. Chunk shows you each stage: Planning, Searching, Browsing, Analyzing, Writing, and Complete. Deep Research also shows depth, breadth, and the number of queries explored.

Exporting and sharing

Once your report is complete, you can export it as a PDF or Markdown file. You can also share it with a public link so anyone can read it without needing an account.

Research history

All your past reports are saved in the Research tab of Workstation. Filter by report type, search by keyword, and re-read any report at any time.
